KiroNET support

KiroNET: Home Network Analyzer inspects devices and services on a local IPv4 network. It runs on macOS 14 or later, on Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.

Start a scan

Choose the network interface connected to the network you want to inspect, then click Scan. If macOS asks for Local Network access, allow it. Scan only networks you are authorized to inspect.

Missing devices or names

A device may not answer the protocols KiroNET checks. Names and models depend on information reported by the device or local network services, so they may be missing or inaccurate.

If macOS does not provide a MAC address, KiroNET still shows available IP addresses and services. Favorites, notes, custom names, presence history, alerts, and Wake on LAN require a MAC address.
